A Lifestyle practiced for over 3000 YEARS
Sicily is the home of many Centenarians. Centenarians are people that live to be over 100 years old and supercentenarians are those that live beyond 110 years of age. It is our deepest conviction, after caring for many patients and having studied the lifestyle and diets of Sicilian Centenarians, that there is a way of eating and living that promotes health that is truly a better and more enjoyable way of experiencing life.
Healthful . Balanced . Delicious
Our mission is to inspire wellness by introducing our readers to the many and wonderful benefits of the Mediterranean Sicilian Secret Diet. As Physicians and healers, we have been committed to teaching our patients the benefits of food as medicine and with pride we have worked on writing a diet plan supported by science and 3000 years of healthy nutrition. Our 30 day diet plan focuses mostly on fruits, vegetables, whole grains and olive oil as the primary fat; it encourages and supports a complete lifestyle change that is easily attainable that involves moderate exercise,a good night sleep and meaningful relationships.
We have selected five of the most popular recipes from the Secret Sicilian Diet Plan book.
We can get all the nutrients our bodies need by eating a variety of nutritious food. Supplements are beneficial when we cannot consistently need a healthy balanced diet. In our store you can find a guide on how to use supplements safely and wisely.
The origin of the word diet comes from the greek word “diaita” which means lifestyle.
The Sicilian Secret Diet is a lifestyle plan. It includes a delicious and healthy mediterrenean diet that encourages and embraces daily exercise, meditation and connection with others. Creating balance is an easier way to accomplish and maintain success and foster longevity.
Together we can make our bodies healthier, stronger and younger. Together we can influence the people we love to do the same and change the world around us for the better.

What People Say
Carla Gugino ( American Actress )
Ok, so maybe it’s my Italian roots, or that I’m overly excited when a qualified doctor tells me a reasonable amount of coffee each day is actually GOOD for me, but I’m really into this cookbook. The very impressive duo, Dr. Giovanni Campanile ( a functional cardiologist ) and Sandra Cammarata ( a psychiatrist and chef ) share some great simple recipes and dietary guidelines as well as reminders to breath, disconnect from our devices in a ritualistic manner (ie an hour or two before bed), and have a wee bit of dark chocolate! Which I always consider food for the Soul.
Keith Carradine ( American Actor )

Rob Cohen ( Director of ‘THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS’ )
It is an engaging history of the massive cultural migrations that swept over the island of Sicily bringing with them the diversity of food and food preparation we know today. This Sicilian cornucopia is, in fact, a direct result of 5,000 years of food enrichment, as nourishment, as a bringer of health and long-sought longevity. The Sicilian island was ready-made for this, positioned perfectly in the Mediterranean Sea amidst the rise and fall of empires and exotic influences from the entire region. The military and culinary crosscurrents from Italy, Greece, the Middle East, Africa, Spain and France swept up on the island’s shores bringing a mélange of diversity and nutritional experiments. Over the centuries, these multi-cultural recipes, cooking techniques, plants, and spices distilled into what the Dr.s Campanile cogently argue became the most balanced, salubrious, longevityinducing palette available for our tables and our bodies today. Not only an engaging read but a fact-filled overview of the intricate interconnection between food and our well being, this book will open a vision far beyond diet, far beyond weight loss, to the essence of wellness itself.
